Functioning of the IMF Office

The President IMF manages the affairs of the Foundation through the Governing Council and various sub-Committees.

The other officers of the Foundation are two Vice Presidents, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Financial Advisor.

A full time Director sees to the day to day running of the Foundation.

How to Reach the IMF Office

The IMF operates from its headquarters located off the Benito Juarez Road that links the outer and the inner Ring Roads through Anand Niketan, in South Delhi (India).

Set amidst the University of Delhi (South Campus) Ridgeline, the IMF is easily reached from the Indira Gandhi International Airport (15 Kms), the Inter- State Bus Terminus (ISBT) (25 Kms); New Delhi Railway Station (10 Kms); metered cabs and auto-rickshaws ply to the IMF hillock. Buses plying along the Ring Road drop one between the Bus Stops at Dhaula Kuan and Nanak Pura from where a brisk walk (2 Kms) or a brisk ride in an auto-rickshaw gets one to the IMF.

IMF Office Timings

The Foundation remains open from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. apart from gazetted holidays, second Saturdays and Sundays.

Visiting hours at the IMF are 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (Indian Standard Time) on working days. For briefing/debriefing, prior appointment is to be fixed with the Director-IMF telephonically to avoid inconvenience.
