The following awards were presented this year:

Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award

Accepting recommendation of the IMF, the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports conferred Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award for lifetime achievements on Shri Nawang Gombu.

IMF Gold Medal and Award for Lifetime Achievements

A Committee under the Chairmanship of Shri DVLN Ramakrishna has worked out the c riteria for IMF Gold Medal and Award for Lifetime Achievements. The Committee has proposed a Gold Medal with a cash award of Rs.50,000 for IMF Gold Medal awardees and for Award for Lifetime Achievements, a Citation with a Plaque and cash award of Rs. 2 Lakh.
