Youth Cross Cultural Mountain Conservation Project

The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India, in association with the Himalayan Adventure Trust of Japan (HAT-J), whose Chairperson is Mrs Junko Tabei, organized the Youth Cross Cultural Mountain Conservation project in the Valley of Flowers in Uttarakhand from 16-25 Aug 06. This meet for 2006 was planned as a valuable opportunity for youth, who came from different parts of Asia and other regions, to exchange views, experience learn about each others cultures and extend friendship.

A seminar was also organized on 25 Aug 06 at IMF in which dignitaries from Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India, Uttarakhand Tourism etc participated.
