Visit of delegation lead by Dy Major of Jinan people's govt. of China to Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF)

A delegation China led by Mr Wang Yicai Dy Mayor of Jinan City of China visited Indian Mountaineering Foundation Headquarters Complex. The delegation included Mr Du Ping, Dy Secretary General, Jinan People Govt, Mr Chu Wei, Director General, Jinan Sports Bureau, Mr Wang Yi, Dy Director General, Jinan Financial Bureau and Mr Kang Yuamsong, Foreign Affairs office Jinan Municipal Govt.

The delegation was received the Air Vice Marshal PCS Rautela the Hony. Secy. The delegation visited IMF premises and showed keen interest in its working and its mission of spreading adventure amongst Indian youth. They were informed of close cooperation protocol signed with Chinese Academy of Sciences in December 2006 to launch expeditions to the sources of Brahmaputra and Satlujduring the next 5 years.

IMF extended its cooperation to the youth of Jinan and undertakes joint expeditions. Mr Wang Yicai appreciated the gesture and assured his full cooperation for such exchange..
