12th IMF National Sport Climbing Competition: 4th to 7th November 2006

The 12th NSCC will be held at Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi from 4th to 7th November 2006. The ‘Lead’ and ‘Speed’ Climbing Competitions would be conducted as per UIAA Rules and Regulations in the following categories:

Men’s Open: Between 16+ to 40 years
Women’s Open: Between 16+ to 40 years
Junior Boys: Between 10 to 16 years; on 4th November 2006
Junior Girls: Between 10 to 16 years; on 4th November 2006

Eligibility

The maximum 8 participant selection by the Zonal Committee by conducting the preparatory training cum selection of team for National will take part in the competition. Maximum 5 would participate in ‘Lead’ and 5 in ‘Speed’. Out of 8 participants, 2 participants could be common participants in both ‘Lead’ and ‘Speed’ Climbing Competition at the Nationals.

Saturday		4 th November 2006		Arrival of participants and organisers, after lunch, registration and briefing and Oath Ceremony
Sunday		5 th November 2006		Inauguration/Opening Ceremony
				Semi Finals
Monday		6 th November 2006		Semi-finals and finals.
Tuesday		7 th November 2006		•  Finals Before Lunch •  Prize distribution/Closing ceremony after lunch.
