Special Training Programmes For Physically & Mentally Challenged Children

The Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), a national apex body, to promote, encourage mountaineering, trekking and allied adventure activities in India, intending to conduct special Training Programmes for physically challenged children:

  • 15 days Adventure/Mountaineering Training Programme for visually challenged children (Age12 to 18 yrs). Each child will have a dedicated guide.
  • (b) 10 days Adventure Camp and Rock Climbing Training in Delhi for physically challenged children for a group of 10 to 20 children (Age 10 to 18).

The training is free and IMF will, if necessary, arrange the collection and drop from central point. Outstation trainees and their two escorts of a group of 10-20 children will be reimbursed sleeper class train fare and board and lodging free of cost.

NGOs working in the field of welfare of the blind/visually handicapped children may avail this opportunity and nominate 10-20 children to enable us to finalise the dates for the aforesaid training programmes. Kindly contact us at the earliest.
